Fieldwork day 5

Today I taught a lesson again.  It was very successful  I demonstrated how to do the project after my mentor teacher began the class.  I did it for 4 out of the 5 classes.  It was such a learning experience to see how different classes respond to each way of teaching.  The morning class is a little easier because it is smaller and has less needs however the afternoon classes are more rambunctious and larger.  I thought there would be more problems however it went very well.  The class understood exactly what I was demonstrating and seemed to love the project.  I also learned new ways to teach the class when students would ask questions.  I used techniques we learned in class such as projecting my voice and announcing side conversations with students to the whole class that would be helpful.  I also made reference to pop culture and other aspects of students life so they could understand better.
