Today's class

I really enjoyed the discussion we had today in class.  My first experience at my fieldwork was ok, the class was creating their own optical illusions regarding the op art movement.  I was able to get experience talking to and interacting with the students.  My cooperative teacher wants me to help and point out things while students are working as much as possible.  However the questions brought up today were interesting and something I never thought of before.  Including the common core principles is important but there is a way to be creative.  I think that is why we write the lesson plans in the format we do because it gives us the ability to back up our ideas and concepts with the standards.  Due to this training I feel I can express everything in regards to how my teaching methods will benefit my students.
