Today's generation is a youth culture with many aspects being pushed at them from every where.  They are influenced by their parents, friends, the media, television, and popular culture.  This generation is like no other because we are always connected like ever before.  Social pressures and norms have changed and are now changing the way we look at the world.  However are we changing for the better?  With these improvements are we becoming more corrupt?  What will come of future generations?

The video sext up kids makes great points.  Kids, especially girls have many pressures to be adults, to look like an adult in order to fit in.  Today's culture is obsessed with a "typical" hypersexual image and if you don't look like that you do not feel as if you fit in with society.  Not only do girls feel they need to look like this to compete with other girls or to be socially accepted by other girls but to be looked at by boys.   Are we telling girls its ok to be submissive and sexualized. Is the culture creating and teaching boys that girls are just sexualized objects.  With popular influences such as what they see in tv commercials, famous stars, movies and music videos.  With role models like the cast of Jersey shore, musicians, athletes and actors who are in the media for what girl they are monopolizing how can we expect to have gentlemen.
