Fieldwork 3

Today we met with Nicole for our last fieldwork meeting before our final presentations. Nicole first said to us that we have all grown up, she said it was as if she has known us since we are little and now we are all adults ready to be teachers.  This statement is true.  Although I have only known Nicole since Intro to Art education which was only a year ago, it truly seems like forever.  If I think back to my first fieldwork experience and my last day at Wappingers Falls Junior high I am a different person.  In those first experiences I was just an observer, then at duzine I became a participant and now in fieldwork 3 I am a teacher. T
Although I am afraid and nervous to move on I do believe it is time,  this program has given me the skills and the drive to move on to student teaching. Change is always scary however all you need to do is try and you will succeed. I know I will be a good teacher, I have proved it to my professors, my mentors, and myself.  Now I just need to prove it to the state and the administration of the school I am working in.
